According to a report published on Monday by the Data, citing individuals who have direct knowledge of the work, Elon Musk has recently moved toward specialists in computer-based intelligence (CBI) regarding the establishment of a second research lab to provide an alternative to OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
According to the report, Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk has been selecting scientist Igor Babuschkin, who recently left Letter set’s DeepMind simulated intelligence unit.
The report comes shortly after ChatGPT, a text-based chatbot developed by OpenAI that can write, read, and even write PC code on demand, gained widespread attention in Silicon Valley.
Musk, who founded OpenAI in 2015 with Silicon Valley financier Sam Altman as a philanthropic startup, left the company’s board in 2018, but he stuck by his interpretation of the chatbot, calling it “terrifying great.”
According to the report, which cited a meeting with the final option, Musk and Babuschkin have looked into forming a group to conduct research on computer-based intelligence. However, the project is still in its infancy, and there is no substantial arrangement to support specific items.
According to the report, Babuschkin added that he has not officially joined the Musk drive.
